Drawing from her life story as a self-made woman, Lillian inspires audiences to go deep inside their hearts and souls and muster up the courage to face life head on to surmount any obstacles that come their way. Born on a farm in the segregated South, Lillian Lincoln Lambert lives the maxim, “Success is a journey, not a destination.” Sensing in her bones that a better life awaited her beyond the farm, at the age of 18, Lillian journeyed to New York City and Washington, DC, to seek her fortune. But after gutting out menial jobs as a maid and typist for four years, Lillian came to the realization that her journey was internal and that education held the key to her future. Lillian went on to obtain a BA from Howard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. It was at Harvard that Lillian achieved a historical milestone as the first African American woman to receive a Harvard MBA.

A cross between Maya Angelou and Cicely Tyson, Lillian speaks comfortably in all types of venues (small groups to large auditoriums) and she reaches all age groups, from high school students to retirees. Her style is warm, conversational, motivating, and thought provoking
